“Excellent hotel, very comfortable stay, great breakfast”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

We stayed here for a conference and it was a superb hotel. We had a very large studio upgrade, the bathroom was spacious with an excellent bath. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pricey but very good. Enjoyed the wide range of cereal, Bircher and especially the blackberry compote. We took a cab to the city square, not far and there's lots to walk around and see. The bohemian part of the city, a take on Montmatre was full of cafes. On our last night we went to a hip Italian restaurant by the river called Comunale--- highly recommended. Also the spa is very, very good with a range of massages...also recommended.

Hyatt meets our expectation, beeing a wonderful, luxurious hotel with extraordinary service. Though it's a little overpriced, but anyway one of the best hotels me and my family stayed in years. Great for business and as a single tourist or with family.

This was my third visit to Belgrade and my third time staying at the Hyatt. Excellent service, nice touches with the apples and bottle of waters. Yes, the hotel is in New Belgrade, but Belgrade is a walkable city. The breakfast offers a myriad of choices, from egg dishes to fresh fruits. Attentive service. No problems with English. One major quibble. The Hyatt can well afford completely free wifi. If the smaller chains can do it, so can Hyatt. The spa and pool are both excellent. Go for the hour massage. If I return to Belgrade, the Hyatt will be my first choice.

I wish this hotel was closer to the old part of Belgrade as nothing is within a walking distance of this hotel. Nice big clean rooms, big marble bathrooms with separate shower stall and bathtub. Small negative observation for a 5 star hotel: no face cloth offered. The writing table lamp had a burnt out light bulb. Windows cannot be opened at all due to the hotel's design and the air conditioning is VERY weak - probably was not even on just the fan. Do not get fooled by the modern adjustable digital gizmo on the wall, it really does NOTHING. When we complained about the room temperature, they sent a technician at 9 PM who came with a ladder and tried to reposition the blades in the grill. I am not an expert, but if the intake air vent is closed off/ hidden in the closet, how should the air circulate at all?
Hyatt gives you a rather stingy 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi, after that you must pay. Why do they bother at all? Just so nobody can say there was no free internet? Breakfast buffet was very good, lots of fresh ans seasonal fruit (cherries, strawberries). Staff is pleasant, polite and professional. Most of them speak an understandeable if not a good English.

Room Tip: Does not really matter, you are in a big hot glass cubicle with no view (only office buildings aroun...

I stayed in room 704, a Club room and I definitely recommend it. Get one that's away from the central club lounge area as I imagine that's quite noisy but my room was wonderfully quiet and only a few rooms down the corridor.

So where to begin with my praise?

I had an airport transfer which I recommend. Lovely smooth trip from airport to hotel without fear of getting stung by unscrupulous taxi drivers.

From the moment I checked in, the staff were kind, friendly, caring and so so helpful. For example, I go running in the mornings and they suggested a good route. This Hyatt is in the new part of Belgrade, across the bridge so wonderfully quiet and away from the VERY hectic city centre and near a park which runs alongside the River Sava. PERFECT for running with the calm river on one side!

The room itself was wonderful. For the first time ever, I wasn't cold and didn't need to ask for a heater. The bathroom and shower were spacious and luxurious. The bed was comfortable and the room wonderfully large without swamping you. Cupboard was a small walk-in wardrobe which was great. Housekeeping was faultless too.

The Club Lounge is great. There you can have a buffet breakfast and they let me take mine to my room. The staff there were always attentive and kind and chatty. Most nights there is a wide selection of wines and canapés and it's an exceptionally relaxing area.

You do have to pay for WiFi in your room - it's rare you don't nowadays, I guess - but you can use the hotel's own pcs in the business room. There are 6 pcs I think and I never had to wait to use one and I used one once or twice a day.

The hotel has a luxurious feel and is immaculately clean with a wide range of restaurants, bars and services. Whilst I didn't use it, there was a Spa downstairs.

There's also a bank/exchange office which was a true bonus plus an automat cash machine.

Staff of exceptional praise - Alexsander (who helped me with the advice on a running route) and the staff in the Club Lounge (Liljana, Irina, Jovana). That said, ALL the staff cared and tried to help sort out any tiny 'niggles' or problems you might have.

The hotel is a minute's walk from the bus stop for many buses which take you across the bridge and to the centre but I generally walked as it was such lovely weather and only takes about 20 mins from the hotel to the centre of Belgrade. Also across the way from the hotel is a large mall with designer and high street brand stores - you can spend hours there shopping for anything you wanted! - plus an excellent supermarket in the basement.

I'd go back and stay here tomorrow without a doubt

Room Tip: Club room on the 7th or 8th floor but away from the main club lounge area.

I stayed here on business for a one night stay. Check in time was three but the staff allowed us to check in early. The room was a little dated, but was very clean. The shower was hands down the best shower I've ever had a hotel. Everyone of the staff I came in contact with was polite and friendly. I had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager Anthony , he was great and just speaking to him for a few minutes you could tell how much pride he has in his hotel and staff! It was a short trip so I didn't eat at any of the restaurants or use the Internet, so I have no experience in either of those two things.

We stayed in this hotel in twin room for two nights attending a conference. Large rooms, comfy beds ,big TV spacious bathroom, all with separated bath tub and shower,toiletries... Best breakfast I ever had in hotels! All you can imagine is there! Great spa but we didn't use it because of leak of time. Looove their spacious lobby area. Concierge will assist you with anything you need, they really have great staff ! Great 5* hotel but some refurbishing/ refreshing in near future will be a good decision!
