Although we had a reservation, our original place Cricket Hostel was overbooked, so they put us in this new hostel. It's actually a bit more expensive but Cricket covered the difference so that was okay. It's a bit pricey otherwise. The couple that ownes it is very friendly.
Belcity is actually more a homestay place than a real hostel: it's two rooms upstairs and one downstairs, we had the one upstairs with our own balcony and a shared bathroom. To get to your room you have to go through the owners' living room (it looks like a common room on the website so don't be fooled), they live and sleep there with their children so expect to have at least a conversation one your way up or down! Please note they're all smokers so if you can't handle the fumes it's perhaps less attractive to stay there.
Our room was small but cozy and the balcony gave added value. The bathroom is spacious and there's a kitchenette with fridge in the hallway.
The hostel is located in a quiet street, about 10 minutes from Slavia Square. Please note that the hallway is dark and not well maintained, and there's no elevator so be prepared to walk the stairs all the way to the 4th floor. The view, however, is great from the terrace upstairs. In all, a good place to stay for couples.
