“Expensive for the quality of the rooms and place”
Reviewed February 14, 2013

The hotel is some kind of ristic decorated with well maintained public spaces.
Not the same we can say about rooms. It depends very much on the room they give you. Most of them are small or 3 bed and 2 not 3 stars. The wooden furniture is a little dated and needs update. Walls and ceilings need repairs in some areas. The heating it is not functional many times ( or they don't switch it on ) and clima can not heat enough in winter - so it can be cold in the room. Bathroom very clean and well mantained. Facilities in room are ok - Sat Tv, free wi-fi, hairdryer...
They have good private and secure parking.
Breakfast is included but the quality depends. If you are there in the morning after a wedding you can have a very good breakfast with food from that wedding. If not, breakfast is very simple. Just turkish coffee very good.
The hotel is a centar for sports and weddings so you can expect noise.
Location is bad, necesary car and good just if you are in tranzit. Nothing to do around, you can not walk. City center is far so if you want to visit take taxi or bus because parking is a problem in center.
At 40 euro/night room 2 stars quality I consider expensive for Beograd. It can be better if they improve the quality of the room/sleep.

Room Tip: ask for 3 stars room and check heating and clima

This hotel was booked on a bed and breakfast rate of approximately 15 pounds a night in May 2012. We were very impressed with the quality of the hotel for the price and the staff were friendly. The garden area was very attractive and meals at the hotel ranged from 3 pounds upwards and 80p per pint of local lager. This hotel was used by locals every night of the week. This hotel was further out from Belgrade city centre than I had thought but we booked the airport transfers through Wizz Air at 15 pounds return each was good value for money. The local taxi booked through the hotel was 6 pounds in total each way. The taxi driver (Goran) became our daily tour guide and took us in to the city a different was each time and explained the history of the area. When we booked taxis from the city center they were trying to charge us 30 to 40 pounds so watch out as all of the city taxi firms tried to do this to us!

This hotel is about 20 km from the city centre, you can catch the tram number 3 to the hotel and it takes about 20-25 mins to their tram stop and another 10 mins to walk to the hotel, although proberly a lot longer as if you dont take a taxi (dinar 800) you have no chance of finding the hotel. The staff speak english to a certain extent, although asking them any questions is futile if you dont speak serbian. The rooms are very large and spacious, bathrooms have a hot tub, but i never used it as the water in the hotel is green :S The hotel really need to sort out their air-conditioning as it was set to 16 degrees and the room was still like a furnace. I cant see any reason to reccomend this hotel as its miles from the centre and average at best.

We stayed two nights. Very comfortable and clean room. Only shower design is a bit strange with no place to hang the shower handle, or place shampoo bottles.

Great garden and friendly staff. Happy to come back again!

We liked this hotel, despite some inconveniences. We got there on a night that had two weddings, so even though their parking lot is quite large, it was very full and very difficult to maneuver in, once we pulled in and discovered it was full. Not just full in a neat 'no more parking spaces' sort of way, but full in that there was nowhere to drive. We had to make a 32-point turn to get out. We did find a space near the other entrance to the lot, though it was in such a narrow spot that I'm surprised we emerged the next day with both mirrors and all of our paint.

That said, we didn't find the room at all dirty, though it was hot, and I couldn't figure out how to turn off the radiator. The window opened, and would have been fine if we hadn't have been right over the doors to one of the weddings, so we got all of the music and all of the cigarette smoke. The room itself didn't smell, though, it was just because of the people smoking below our window.

we had some trouble with our insurance paperwork while we were there ( no fault of theirs) and since the free internet was spotty at best, they let us use their computers to try and fix it. The customer service was excellent.

The breakfast was nasty.

Photographs flatter this hotel. The lobby area looks promising in a ski-lodge sort of way. However , when you leave the lobby, the maze of dark dingy corridors with random pieces of furniture against the walls leads to bedrooms that are, in my opinion. shabby, uncomfortable, poorly lit and in need of a deep clean. What you save on hotel costs, you spend on taxis - and there are aggressively overcharging taxi-drivers in Belgrade. I do know that conditions in Serbian hotels must be set in context of the overall standard of living in eastern European countries outside the EU. The star-grading system bears no relation to the system that applies in western countries. If ever in Serbia again, I will stay in one of the city-centre hotels.

Room Tip: Try to avoid the rooms that only have a ceiling window, as you have no possibility of looking outsid...
