“Right in the center, pedestrian access only, clean and very good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2013

Belgrade's famous pedestrian street Knez Mihailova is the location for this smart modern hotel.

We just stayed one night in Belgrade and were extremely impressed by the high standard of the suite we stayed in. Very quiet, high quality bedding and lovely view over the rooftops of this old city. It's true you have no access by car to the hotel at it is really right in the center. Think about this when packing your bags so you've not got too much to lug around the pedestrian area.

The breakfast at the weekend was really busy, we shared a large table with other guests which was also nice. Choice of food should meet all expectations of a 4 star establishment. A young team managed the hotel and were very helpful and kind in all ways. We agreed late check out so we could just wash hands and pack final things before leaving the city on a lovely sunny Saturday afternoon. Lucky as the taxi drive told us it was marathon day the next day. So, if you're coming in by taxi ( 35 Euro we paid to the airport) and do not have a car to park this is really the hotel to go to. We booked at hotel.com and got a good weekend price.
we'd for sure stay here again.

Room Tip: we were on level 8 and happy with this spacious room, really good as no large roads nearby only pede...

The hotel is new hotel, in the walking street of the center. When taking a taxi to the hotel you should keep in mind that the taxi will drop you somewhere nearby and you have to walk there, and carry your baggage. This is the best hotel I have stayed at in Serbia (a total of 3 so-far). Rooms are clean, new and functional. During my stay, the hotel was fully booked and packed. This caused a few pleasant and some less pleasant consequences. The positive side was that I got an upgrade to a suite. But, at least when fully booked, it takes forever to wait for the lift (the hotel has only one for 8 floors and this is in fact clearly insufficient), and breakfast area was so full that I had to wait for a while for a seat. The internet access is well below the average. I don't think this was necessarily a consequence of a fully booked hotel, as I tried very late and very early and the speed was very slow. If these flaws did not exist, this hotel would have deserved full stars and a label of excellence.

Dear Mr Touradj,

Thank you for your review, and for the good impression you had while staying at Belgrade Art Hotel!

We also appreciate that you posted some things you found not so pleasant, so I would like to take this opportunity and address those issues!

Regarding the elevators, we actually have 3 elevators, 2 of which are for hotel guests, and one separate elevator for our staff! I am sorry that our receptionists did not inform you about that!
As for internet connection, we have both WI-fi and LAN high speed internet connection. I guess that because of the high occupancy on that day, there was a problem with a speed, although it shouldn't be an issue. We will definitely examine the problem , in order to improve that service too.

Mr Touradj, I hope that you will be staying at Belgrade Art Hotel again, and that you will have an even better impression than during your first stay! Please, do not hesitate to contact me , in case you decide to visit us again!

All the best!

Olgica

I stayed to this hotel more than once. Prices are reasonable. The service needs big improvement, the breakfast could be better, the food is good, but the location is excellent. Centrally located on Knez Mihailova, the best pedestrian road in the heart of Belgrade

Dear Mariad,

First of all, I would like to thank you for posting the review on TripAdvisor, as it is always of great importance to us to know the impressions our guests had, in order to constantly improve and adopt to client needs!

As you wrote that service needs improvement, I would like to hear what exactly you meant. This also applies to breakfast, as we have recently improved our breakfast and received lot of positive feedback! In most cases, our breakfast is included in the room price, and we offer a wide selection of hot and cold dishes, fresh fruits, cereals, pastries, and besides that guests can order different kids of eggs and other breakfast items prepared to their choice, free of charge!

So, I would kindly ask you to give me some more feedback on the things that according to you need improvements! My e mail adress is: olja@belgradearthotel.com!

We hope to welcome you again at Belgrade Art Hotel!

My husband and I and a group of friends stayed at the Belgrade Art Hotel for a weekend visit to Belgrade. The location is excellent. The service and breakfast was very good for the price. Rooms are a bit small but it's sufficient for 2 people, especially since it's so convenient to venture out. Would highly recommend.

Room Tip: we asked for a quiet room, which we were happy with.

We had a very pleasant stay at Beograd Art Hotel. The location is excellent (in the pedestrian street with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants closeby) yet it is still on a quiet location. We slept very well. We had two dinners in the restaurant and were happy with the food and the service. I also had two massages, one with Zoran and one with Natasha. Both massage therapists were excellent and did a very good and professional massage. The spa is open "on appointment only" so you need to contact the reception for the appointments. We did not try breakfast as it was not included in our deal. However, there are plenty of good cafes and restaurants in the area so it is easy to find different places to eat. The hotel organized our taxi service back to the airport in a very efficient and frindly manner for a fixed price. Everybody we dealt with at the reception, restaurant and spa was very friendly and professional. The level of service was well above average standard, even for a 4-star hotel. If we come back to Belgrade we will certainly stay at the Beograd Art Hotel again. The hotel is good at a good location, but it was really the staff who made the big difference. They really seemed to want to make the guest's stay as pleasant as possible.

The location is as central as possible right on the central pedestrian street.

Rooms are spacious, with modern furniture and even though they overlook the crowded pedestrian street they are quiet.

There is a nice cafe on the first floor of the hotel with big windows letting physical light coming in.

Room Tip: ask for a room on the upper floors

The location couldn't be more central and yet you don't hear a single soound from outside.

The decor is wonderful, both the room and the bathroom.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, both front desk and waiters.

Beautiful breakfast room and free spa.

Not to be missed when in Belgrade.
