This modern Balkan fusion restaurant on the Sava River has a fresh approach to a variety of native Serbian dishes. Among the appetizer plates offered we tried smoked duck carpaccio - about US $6.90 and a unique and highly flavorful dish. The hot calamari and basil pesto US $6.40 was small but fresh and well prepared -- not chewy or overdone. The grilled oyster mushrooms with sheep cheese at US $3.80 was also very tasty. The hot oven baked eggplant with tomato and pepper oregano and sheep cheese for US $3.90 was delicious in a generous small portion. A salad with oven baked beet rocket greens and goat cheese was very enjoyable, at US $3.90. Glasses of white wine are available at US $3.40 or $5.80. Note: this restaurant replaced a previous restaurant named Iguana with a similar approach. Certainly worth a visit and especially convenient to the Belgrade waterfront or those on a river cruise.
