Each year BlueCielo organizes a global event for its partners, combined with a global sales kick off for the internal organization, typically happening in January. Around these two major some other events are to take place, resulting in a total of 10 different events in one week. This makes the organization, selection of venues and logistics for the constantly changing configuration of attendees (varying from 15 to 180 attendees) very complex. This year’s event was chosen to take place in Belgrade and for the organization a local contact, speaking the local language and understanding the way business is done is crucial for the success of the entire happening.
For the local event management various companies were considered, but one stood out from the competition: TET Serbia from Dana. Dana’s company stood out, because she already had organized a wide variety of events and resides in Belgrade, knowing the local companies we needed working with. Therefor we planned a meeting in October 2016 to do a site visit and meet Dana for the first time. This was a great pleasure! Dana took all the time to guide us through Belgrade and showed possible venues for the event. More important, that went in a very pleasant way and at the end of the weekend we had a new friend and a very experienced event manager with which we were confident to make the event a success.
So, we started working together and organize the week. When it became clear that the chosen hotel was not providing the right service for getting the event organized, Dana showed her great flexibility and professionalism. We switched hotel and from that moment on the entire organization went very quickly, resulting in a great week. All the attendees were very well entertained and everything ran very smoothly and perfectly on time, with the flexibility to adjust on the spot to make sure each and every one had a great time in Belgrade!
With the great support of Dana, we were able to give all our partners, employees and top management of our organization a great week in Belgrade. I like to thank Dana for her great support and professionalism to make this complex event a success and whish her a great future with her company. I highly recommend any foreign company that wants to organize an event in Serbia to work with TET. You will not be disappointed!
