A hotel this far from the centre shouldn't be ths good.

I stayed at the Rin Grand for Business purposes as was recommended this hotel by my client who are located nearby.

To be honest, I didn't expect much and feared the worst when the taxi ride took ages, through the centre of Bucharest and then further, further away from civilisation.

And then saw the hotel and perked up a little bit. True, its in a bit of an industrial area but the hotel itself is very nice. Got a bit of a shock during check in when they told me they didn't have any record of my booking...not sure whose fault this was - my company's travel agent or the hotel, but it was sorted out very quickly with the price of the booking being honoured by the hotel.

Incidentally, the price was very competitive when compared to the quality of the hotel.

Here are my normal hotel check points;

1. A single light switch near bed to turn off all lights (so don't have to spend ages going round working out the correct order to turn them off): CHECK!
2. Shower gel actually placed in the shower so don't have to get out and get them from the other side of the bathroom: CHECK!
3. No buzzing etc in room to prevent sleep: CHECK!
4. Real orange juice (no chemically stuff): Hmm, not sure, I have my doubts
5. Free Wifi: CHECK! In the room as well as well as receiption.
6. Free gym: Based on the expedia page I thought it did - but no, it was advertised in the room as £7 a pop. Disappointing.

But overall, a good place. Breakfast was nice and staff seemed to be very pleasant and keen to help.

RIN Grand Hotel is located on the Southern part of the city, at only 7 km for city center, but most likely you were caught in a middle of traffic jam if it took “ages” to the driver to get you to the hotel. I must say that the civilization exists in this area also, even is not in the city center. I am truly sorry that my colleagues from Front desk did not find your reservation instantly but I was glad to hear it was quickly settled. Here at RIN Grand we do our best to offer competitive prices for Bucharest market, while not decreasing the quality of 4stars hotel services and improving towards perfection.

Regarding the cost for Spa access, please note that this is a payable extra service at 4 star hotels. However, hotel`s guests benefit by a 80% discount for accessing spa services and you also benefit by this discount.

Business trip

The hotel is very nice, it has very nice rooms,a good service and a nice view o the top. You have the spa, pool and fitness part which are also very nice, as part of recreation if you are interested. It also has many rooms for meetings and a great conference room.

Large Hotel and good for Conference

Its a large Hotel in the southern Part of Bucharest. Itwas already our second Trip there, because we had some Conferences there and our Company also booked 6 nights there for us. A good Breakfastservice was available and we also tried few Times their Restaurant and itis alsorecommendable. Good Choices between traditional and international Dishes. With Bus, it was arround 15 minutes to get from the Hotel to the middle of the City.

ellegance at its best

i travelled in Bucharest for business purpose in december 2012 and stayed for 2 nights at Rin Grand Hotel. Extremely amazing hotel, fronm the entrance it welcomes you with a huge and ellegantly designed lobby, it has a gigantic parking space, I think it has about 4 or 6 levels of inside parking. This hotel is very big and ellegant, I`ve also heard, but not confimed that is the biggest hotel in Europe. Anyway, is has at least 3 restaurants, one of them is very big, it can be used for celebrating Events. Food and serving, very good, waiters are always very nice, also the recepcionists. The conference rooms are at the 12th and 13th flooors of the hotel. Amazing view from there. The conference rooms are also very spacious. Overall, and extremely good impression of this hotel, maybe the best I have ever been to.

Good and a friendly Hotel in Bucharest

We already have been there several times, due our company have got there usually the Conferences. We eally can recommend this RIN Hotel to all (but especially for Businesstravellers).
The food in their Restaurant was also good and the Service have been very guestorientated.
Due our last 2 Nights there, we had a nice exclusive Room. Room was large and very cosy outfitted.
