One of the best place from Bucharest where you can spend quality time with your friends, you can eat different kind of food (romanian, italian, greek), you can dance in clubs and enjoy live concerts.

It is truely the old historical city center. Charming, with fantastic architecture of the buildings. Most of them newly renovated. Great cafes, pubs and bars and extremly cheap for western foreigners. Although around 15th century this was the place of shops of craftsmen and merchants from different parts of Europe, now it is flooded by cafes, bars and pubs, beautifully decorated, creating a great atmosphere to eat you lunch, dinner or just have a glass of wine or beer with your friends or family. You can also find here the oldest church in Bucharest and the National Bank of Romania and many other amazing buildings. The pitfalls of this place-almost no green space, sometimes gets really crowded( esspecially in weekend).

Bucharest's Old Town, also called Lipscani, is the city’s booming historical and entertainment center. The name 'Lipscan' derived it's name from the old German town Leipzig in the 17th century when traders from Leipzig brought their wares to sell to locals.

Today, the area is going through a major Renaissance.

New cafes, bars, clubs and restaurants (especially on Smardan and Franseza Streets) are flourishing and becoming the favorite meeting place in Bucharest among locals and tourists.

If you're in the mood for a juicy prime rib, mozy on over to Red Angus Steakhouse (56th Franseza Str.) for their delicious American style culinary beef recipes.

But, before you settle down for a juicy tenderloin, hop on one of the saddle bar seats made from authentic, used saddles, bought from real life cowboys in the USA. You'll think you're at a rodeo.

Their mixologist Cristea Andrei Mihai will fix you up a refreshing cocktail to get your appetite going. He deserves the Tales of the Cocktails Award for the best Mojito.

Whether you’re into the latest dub step pop songs or loud punk and rock&roll, Bucharest’s historical center can satisfy any musical taste.

While you’re in the Old Town, start the night off with a couple drinks at these popping lounge bars with live DJs: Cliché, Trinity College and Finnish. For a more chill out spot, try Bartini, Charme and Laborator cocktail bar.

You will enjoy a perfect evening, any of the many restaurants you will be choosing. Tap beer is cold, good and cheap!
