There is not much to do/see in this park, there is a very small lake, with a restaurant near, and if you go up the stairs to the monument, you get a pretty neat view of the park and the city. (Check out the photos to see what I mean.) But except that: almost no place to buy refreshments/snacks, so if you are with small children, you need to be prepared.

A regular park with a monument to remember the communist Romania. Not worth visiting unless you are close.

Carol Park is the oldest park in Bucharest, more than 100 years old. Some of the trees are as old as the park. One can go with the boat on the small lake in the park.

This a very old park, with intimate and small streets to take a stroll. It hosts the very first armed concrete bridge, the Museum of Technology, an island and a grotto. Here you can also find the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the zodiac fountain.
