I find the Romanian Athenaeum as one of the most beautiful building in little Paris. If you visit Bucharest, you're not allowed to forget visiting it. It's a very beautiful place.

A beautiful building inside and out, just off a peaceful park. With rich, red seating and artwork that represents the history of Romania, its grandeur represents Bucharest's early title "The Small Paris of the East." With excellent acoustics, it is also worthwhile to attend an event. It rounds out the understanding of what Bucharest really is.

Beauty and history all toghether! Right in the center of Bucharest on the main boulevard the Romanian Atheneum is a piece of art extremely well preserved. Symphonic concerts are the best here.

The Romanian Athenaeum (Romanian: Ateneul Român) is a concert hall in the center of Bucharest, Romania and a landmark of the Romanian capital city. Opened in 1888, the ornate, domed, circular building is the city's main concert hall and home of the "George Enescu" Philharmonic and of the George Enescu annual international music festival.

must see!
