Amazing place to remember the events of 1989. A central point in Bucharest showing off some very interesting architecture.

“the palace square”
Reviewed January 10, 2012

this square was in past the host of the former royal palace.the name of the place in communist times was the palace square.a weird choose for the communists to keep monarhical symbols.after changing the political regime in 1989 the new name of the square was changed in the revolution square.this was the place where the controversial revolution of 1989 was born in bucharest.the old perfume of this city is forgotten in these places too.

“It is nice to take a walk there”
Reviewed January 7, 2012

It is the place where the Romanian Revolution began in Bucharest, in December 1989. There is the headquarters of the Romanian Ministry of Interiors and Administration, The Romanian National Museum of Arts (the former Royal Palace), the Central University Library and other interesting sights.
