For us, this was an escape from the heat and in the main, the shopping centre achieved this purpose. It was good to try out a Ted's Coffee Shop here as I've seen a few outlets but never made it in. Other than that there is the usual mix of large and small retail names, a huge amout of eateries (including our second Gloria Jeans café of the trip) plus a climbing wall and ice rink!
The glass roof is a great idea except when we were approaching 40c outside, the air con didn't quite cope and it still felt like 25c! Still, better than being outside!

For us the most unusual feature of this shopping centre was the entertainment area.
There is an ice rink, an enormous climbing wall, and lots of other things all surrounded by cafes and restaurants.
As for the shopping there were lots of familiar UK brands as well as many local shops.
Leaving the shopping centre in a taxi was more difficult than we expected. The ticket machine for ordering taxes was not working.
The information desk tried to help by ordering a taxi from a mobile phone app, however gave up after some considerable effort as non were available.
We stood outside where people were being dropped off and hopped into a taxi that somebody just vacated. This was a risky tactic that turned out okay for us as he was an honest and good driver.

Nice place, second biggest mall in Bucharest, has plenty of all, from expensive to cheap brands, restaurants, a lot of activities for children of all ages, cinema ice rink, Play Station rooms, food all kinds that you need. Its located in the city no need to go far far away very good place for shopping or to spend one cloudy rainy day.

Having visited the malls on numerous visits to Bucharest, it is always nice to come back.
While the mall was emptier this time, it was still enjoyable to walk its long avenues, window-shopping (and getting some supermarket supplies, too).
Notice that most taxi drivers outside the mall are scammers and you are better off getting a taxi online or using the taxi dispatcher machine near the main entrance to get one.
