If you want to get the feel and sound of the Romanian country side, this is the place to visit. Old houses and churches were relocated from all ver Romania to this museum (starting a 100 years ago) and give the real feel and sound of Romania...we loved it!

Visiting Bucharest this is a place you just have to visit. The different houses are interesting to see and read about. The park is nice to walk around in and offers a bit of rest in a busy city.

It's amazing to see all the types of houses from the Romanian villages. I went on a beautiful sunny day and enjoyed every minute.

We were in Bucharest for Easter and decided to spend a few hours on a lazy Sunday afternoon in this museum.

There are lots of buildings to visit and it is genuinely nice to saunter along and enjoy the views.

There were many market stall holders near the entrance/exit which was a boon as it allowed us to stock up on local produce for gifts and souvenirs.

Well worth a visit.
