“Must see”

Need to book in the day before for this trip and bring your passport otherwise you will not be allowed in. Entry is from the side facing the park area. The tour lasts about 2 hrs and take in several floors and to include the terrace with cool views of the city.

“Very disappointing”
Reviewed March 2, 2014 via mobile

The tours are billed as a visit to the Palace of Parliament sadly not so. The 2 hour tour takes in the basement a couple of main floors and a terrace. the basement is famous for hosting a Top Gear segment where cars race in the tunnels. You will not see any part of those tunnels. The part that is on the tour is neither educational nor illuminative. The rooms that are on the tour are of the conference centre. The terrace is un inspiring. The guide was poorly trained. Dont expect to see any areas of the Parliament.

“The must of Bucharest!”
Reviewed February 26, 2014

The world's second largest building after the Pentagon. Is huge and imposible to see everything but definitely worth it, in particular the beautiful terrace. Do not forget to take your ID or passport because it is required at the entrance.

“Nice MNAC”
Reviewed February 26, 2014

I was in Museum of Contemporary Art which is located at the rear of the building (about 30mins walk from the front of Palace, this place is really huge). I was there on Sunday, so the entrance was free. Really good exhibition of some feminists pieces, nice thing that I found polish accents!

“Just the grandeur is worth the admission.”
Reviewed February 25, 2014

Ever wondered what a major complex in a leader can do with enough cash???

Well this is it. Book in advance if your going in the busy season and don't scrimp on the extra few pounds to miss out on the rooftop terrace.

From curtains made by Nuns to chandeliers that cover entire ceilings this place is fascinating. Even the fact that they have managed to sterilise every room of the countries history tells a story on its own.
