“Nice MNAC”
Reviewed February 26, 2014

I was in Museum of Contemporary Art which is located at the rear of the building (about 30mins walk from the front of Palace, this place is really huge). I was there on Sunday, so the entrance was free. Really good exhibition of some feminists pieces, nice thing that I found polish accents!

“Just the grandeur is worth the admission.”
Reviewed February 25, 2014

Ever wondered what a major complex in a leader can do with enough cash???

Well this is it. Book in advance if your going in the busy season and don't scrimp on the extra few pounds to miss out on the rooftop terrace.

From curtains made by Nuns to chandeliers that cover entire ceilings this place is fascinating. Even the fact that they have managed to sterilise every room of the countries history tells a story on its own.

“Very impressive buildng indeed”
Reviewed February 24, 2014

With 12 floors above ground, and 8 floors below, including one of the biggest undergorund nucleur bunkers in the world. At 1100 rooms, this builidng is the house to both the Senate and the Congress for the Country of Romania. With huge concert halls, and ballrooms throughout this building you will easily see why it is the second biggest office building in the world ( next to the Pentagon of course) . It has a great but yet gruesome history also. Nicloae Caseaucsu (Ruler under a Communism regime) referred to it as his house from 1965 to 1989 unitl he was exectued along with his wife as they tried to flea the country. He was the President of Romania at the time. The fee to take the guided tour is about 45 RON, or 11 Euros

“An incredible place that should never have been built”

A must see place to visit n Bucharest. The trip around the palace consisted to endless "conference rooms" and long corridors. The time spent in the underground areas was very limited.

“grand, majestic”
Reviewed February 15, 2014

second largest parliament in the world after the Pentagon! there were some protestors outside when I was in Bucharest, so I didn't go near the parliament and took photos from a distance. It seems grand like a palace.
