“You have to go!”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

Tourists and Romanians alike have mixed feelings about this place; to some it's just a giant building, while for others it's a symbol of an era. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we enjoyed the tour (the guide tried really hard!) and would definitely recommend that you go and decide for yourself.

“Impressive building”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

It’s a very impressive and huge building. Its the tallest building in Bucharest and the second largest building in the world. It was built during the darkest days of the Nicolai Ceausescu regime. Today hosts the Romanian parliament and a modern conference center and Romania’s Museum of Contemporary Art. You can visit the Palace only with guided tours. Its important that you must have your passport, or a driving license or other form of ID. The entrance fee is very low 25 lei (standard tour+basement), but an additional fee of 30.00 lei is payable to use camera (photos or video).

“Parliament Palace Visit Sept 2013”
Reviewed October 7, 2013

Good tour and they really know how to talk up their assets. Interesting and very worth while doing..... this is one of the items not to be missed if you're in Bucharest. Historically this has a lot to offer from political aspects and engineering / architectural perspective. Second biggest building in the world behind the Pentagon.

“must see”
Reviewed October 1, 2013

If you don't have allot of time go around Bucharest and visit stuff - this was the case for me - and you have to pick just one thing, pick a tour to this huge building, it is worth it! You will understand a little bit more Bucharest of today, by getting a glimpse of communist Bucharest. Just keep in mind to book it 2 or 3 days before if possible.
