Ramada Bucharest Majestic Hotel

Many pros and cons. PROs:
Fine room, good housekeeping, slippers/razor kit and all bathroom facilities, very conveniet €uro exchange rate and reasonably priced taxi (overall impression is compensated by a fine room, the expectations were worse considering the feedbacks published)
CONs: air conditioning was not working, very poor isolation (terribly noisy street), no fresh fruit at breakfast (asked for some but it never arrived), coffe from big pot (not brewn, no warm milk), reception staff not very helpful.

The relation price-quality is so bad. Is an old hotel (at least our room), with old furniture and tv.. I was expecting somethong better for this price. The breakfast is not bad, but nothing special.. many people working there but so disrupted... I do not recommended at all..

I was expecting more after the positive review here,
I found the hotel staff (on terasse not friendly at all).
The hotel room are old..big spacious rooms but old tv...small beds.
There is nothing really special to the room. it is clean and boring. i was in the faar wind of the hotel, maybe there are older rooms not renovated...

i have spent two nights at this hotel and enjoyed my stay. The decor might not be modern but my room was very comfortable with a nice bathroom. Breakfast choice is good too. The location is great, just a few minutes away from most places. The staff is very helpful, especially the guys who managed the car park spaces outside of the hotel.

I've stayed in a few hotels in Bucharest but the position of the Ramada Majestic really made it for me. I was staying with a friend who had never visited the city, and I really felt that the location of the Ramada allowed her to see the best of the city at close hand. The hotel itself was very good. The room was incredibly quiet - no banging doors or corridor conversations to be heard. I also liked the fact the windows opened, which is not always the case. We had everything we needed in the room - not the most modern but a great shower and the air-con was fine. Breakfast was adequate; not the best I've had but there was plenty of choice. If I were to welcome another 'newbie' to Bucharest, I would stay here again.

I stayed for four days and I really liked it. It is positioned in the middle of old town so it's great for walking around city even when you are bussy during day as I was because of conferention.
Breakfast was good I rather have wider choice of bread or rolls becasse rolls were really bad. Sometimes staff wasn't very careful about cleaning tables and hotel of this categhory served cream for coffee in the small plastic pods. But overall it was good.
The bathtube was bit chipped and watter pressure was por or something like that, it was impossible to get stabile temperature in shower, it change all the time, one while it was to warm, the other to cool, when you move the tam the slightes bit the temperature change a lot.

Has been stayed in this hotel many times already and I am sure I will stay again at this hotel next time. Overall from the service and room was good, the staff of the hotel were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good as well and the most important for me was the location of the hotel it self, very close by to many interesting places worth to visit.
