“From here, everywhere”
Reviewed April 1, 2012

Named after '89 revolution to comemorate the event, this is a large square userd for importand events in Bucharest. Here you will find huge concerts(ACDC, Sting were here), important fairs, gatherings, contersts and more. At the east, you will find Unirii Square, at the north, Izvor park and Dambovita river, West the Parliament Palace(Biggers building in the world after Perntagon), at the south, trough some small streets, Carol Park.

From here you can get everywhere in Bucharest. You have the old city with lots of pubs and nice places(5 minutes on foot), Unirii Shopping Centre(5 minutes), Casa Poporului(Now named Parliament House)2 minutes, Marriot Hotel 10 minutes, Isvor or Unirii Subway station, and lot of interesting places.

Though not so special when emply, mostly a parking lot, is a great place due the view it have to Parliament House and the (Unirii?) boulevard that starts here
