“Bad experience.”
Reviewed December 17, 2013

We had good food, but very bad treatment from the waiters. When we ask something, the waiter had an attitude like you do me a favor. It is inexcusable. Also, take care, it is much cigarette smoke!

“Fine, neat, spicy”
Reviewed December 5, 2013

Very nice place, comfortable too. The food menu is not sophisticated but you can find a bit of everything. The food is very good and well presented. The waiter was prompt and handy with fileting the fish. There is a good wine list. Some great Romanian wines like Lacerta's Cuvee IX (~125 lei) or Davino's (~155 lei) rouge at very decent prices (unlike city grill which is a rip off with wines). The only "mistake" in the menu is the poorer choice for the spirits (tequila and rum selection way bellow the standards of the place).
Don't adventure yourself for a three course menu, the portions are large. Coffee is good, too.
The place is expensive, by any standards; but all in all a nice addition to the restaurants selection in Bucharest. It is also one of the few spots in Bucharest where you can find burrata ;)

“Disapointing!”
Reviewed November 16, 2013

Our experience here was not the best. Inside was a lot of smoke, waiters gave us wrong information about dishes and provided us two times a wrong note. The food is not so good (the bread form the hamburgers was looking like bought from supermarket, the cheapest one, and the service is a disaster! Waiters were preoccupied to talk and to amuse themselves than to worry about customers. But most disturbing is the lack of good ventilation and no area for non smokers, reason for which we left disappointed and strongly smelling of cigarette smoke.

“Modern hip restaurant in Bucharest”
Reviewed October 31, 2013

I enjoyed my dinner in this restaurant located in a nice area of Bucharest. It has a pretty extensive menu of steaks and fish. I loved the black paella which was moist and tasty. My fish soup was not impressive but the boulliabase was delicious. The steak was good but not outstanding. I thought that the hamburger ice cream was very creative. I like the modern feel of the restaurant which is refreshing in an old city. The service was friendly and efficient...probably the best we had during our stay in Romania.
