This restaurant is pricey but worth it. Excellent atmosphere, live music on some evenings, real Romanian food. The servers are very attentive, but they know when to leave you alone. The lunch experience is not as good as the evening dinner experience. They are accustomed to government and corporate visitors and they accept American Express credit cards.

the house is great, old and stilish. the food is excellent, Romanian city style, but great. the decorations are beautiful, even the AC is hidden in a picture. the stuff is educated, they come whenever you need them, without keeping their eyes on you. place s even more beautiful during summer with a beautiul terrace.

they have a very good place for non-smokers, so ypu can be accompanied by children.

Sorry to seem to be the bad guy here but this restaurant is just a joke. The house where its functions yes, it's large and beautiful. The food is just a major disapointment. Big difference as compared to the older Jaristea in Cosbuc street. We tried a few dishes, we were not happy. Service is indeed good but that about it. Not coming back.

This is a fusion between old & new, a unique place to experience the traditional Romanian dishes in a gourmet style. It's perfect for couples, families, friends, business meetings, I think it's the most versatile place in Bucharest!

Starting this week, they have a new menu, can't wait to try them all! Also, the wine selection is perfect and the waiters really deserve their tips.
