“Worth visiting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 15, 2011

The history of Romanians starting from the BC times, lots of paintings, obsessive organisation, poor gift shop,a huge outside park full of everyting on wheels but no Tiger or T-82,no cafe but sculptures of Lenin and Stalin and a smiling Stalin painting beneath the museum.

“lots of fun for the guys!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 15, 2011

It was interesting to see all the communist era stuff. Kind of creepy in a way but a lot of fun. They had rockets and even a tank to climb in. The guys loved it!

“A impressive collection of weapons”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 21, 2011

At the National Military Museum I've found out some of the history of Romanian Army, and a lot about any kind of weapon used by Romanian soldiers along their existence.

You can see swords, pistols, rifles, tanks, cannons, rockets, etc.

It's an instructive visit for anyone which like the weapons.

The museum is well organized.
Includes a dedicated space for the communism era and for the 1898 revolution.
The outdoor exhibition includes unique military examples
