“good hotel poor quality service”
Reviewed April 1, 2010

The hotel looks nice ecxept for the small details, the location is close to all you need.
Confortable room, nice outdoor pool, but staff not so great.
Prime rib restaurant is nice but very noisy, even if suppose be not smoking area a lot of people were smoking.
Staff over all are not so professional, using the mobile phone often while in service, specially one which I think was a supervisor.
The Italian restaurant has nothing of Italian.
the bar at the lobby is too cold, and the other one is nice but is more for Cigar, so can beevery smoky.
Everything is over price compare to the quality and service.

For anyone planning a trip to Bucharest that wishes to "cut out" 90% of the headaches associated with bookings, room receipt, technical issues, rudeness of staff, dining options, location, then the new-ish Radisson is the place to be. The prices that you'll see published at the lobby are the maximum prices, so a tip is to always ask the desk clerk about their current specials and best available rooms. They are an amazingly helpful staff and don't "shrug their shoulders" when asked a question (a common issue here). The Casino is hands down one of the best in Bucharest, and the dining is superb, however a bit pricy. The good news is you're right across the street from "old town" Lipscani, with more dining and nightlife options than you'll have time for... so venturing out of this hotel just makes sense. Another hot tip... if you are planning a booking near New Year's, plan 3 weeks ahead... call the reception and book the New Years Party package that includes the "skylounge"... you won't regret this decision, as you get a bird's eye view of all the fireworks in Bucharest, including the show at the People's Palace.

Just the best option in town. I had 500 colleagues staying in this hotel in 2009. It was the foirst year I had no major complaint regarding the hotel services we arrange!
In short, theit feed-back:
Good location, excellent rooms, impressive spa, great services.

What an amazing hotel.

Facilities are as good as anything seen elsewhere and staff are marvellous - well managed, efficient and go out of their way to be as helpful as humanly possible. The rooms are large and superbly designed. The pool and leisure complex is amazing and the business centre is very efficient. There is a choice of restaurants / bars to eat in. The hotel food and drink prices are perhaps 40% higher than local restaurants but the quality ifs there. The cafe does stunningly good pizzas. The Breakast buffet is absolutely first class.

On the one hand, the Radisson SAS Bucharest may be the nicest hotel I've ever seen. Every thing about it is incredible in a very modern way. Huge lobby. Very modern, tasteful, thoughtful rooms. Fabulous breakfast buffet. Really a lovely hotel. I do slightly agree with comments that it is a little on the cold side but that may be the very modern style and that pertains to the lobby and public areas. The rooms are really very warm and inviting. Any thing you might need -- blow dryer, iron, safe -- is all there. And room service was quite good. If you can afford it, you'll enjoy it.

Service in general is poor for a hotel in this category. Concierge was not aware of one the better restaurants in the city that was advise by a colleague and the service at the bar of the hotel was not terrific. Actually I was the only person at the bar on a Wednesday evening. Price I paid was not up to the value and service I expected.

When you enter the hotel it looks great at first sight but when you stay some days it gives you a cold and empty feeling. Too big, hardly people at the bar, breakfast restaurant huge so you sit alone in the morning. I was not impressed.
