Hotel room was very spacious wirh a sofa, chair and coffee table as well as a desk. Good Wi-Fi in room. Nice sized bathroom with a tub and telephone shower. Good toiletries. Good breakfast buffet with a lot of variety, but very crowded. Staff was helpful. We had asked for a non-smoking room, but the first room they put us in reeked of smoke. They moved us immediately and helped with the bags. Free, monitored Parking is a big bonus!

The hotel is a bit hard to find because of all the one way streets around the train station a couple of blocks away. A/C had a "governor" which would not allow us to turn it down. (This seems common in Croatia when it's "off-season.") Thus, we had to keep the windows open which wasn't really adequate and let in noise and dampness.

Wonderfully surprised when we arrived. The service was second to none. The hotel was amazing!! The location was just far enough out of town but close enough to walk. Free parking too. If this place had a doorman it should be rated a 5 star!

We stayed in Zagreb for two nights and wanted a hotel that was centrally located with enough room for two young children. Unless you want to pay ridiculous prices for a luxury suite, this is not always easily accomplished in European hotels.

The hotel is located an easy 2-3 minute walk from the Central Train Station and a 10 minute walk from the Central Square and markets. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and two or three small supermarkets for essentials.

We stayed in an Executive Suite which comprised a very large and comfortable queen sized bed and a sofa bed for the children. It was a very large room and well appointed. Free wi-fi was available throughout the hotel (including rooms), large flat screen TV with English news channels and Eurosport, a well appointed bathroom (shower over bath), small desk and plenty of storage space. We paid Euro 122 per night which was excellent value.

The service was a mixed bag. The staff on reception were relatively fluent in English and only too willing to assist. They happily addressed the few issues we had (including a non-functioning room safe). The restaurant staff were also extremely friendly and delighted in entertaining the children.

However, on the down-side, the heating in the room was unbearably warm and on the first night we got very little sleep. Despite advertising that each room has indepenedent heating/cooling control, when I phoned reception to seek instruction I was informed that the entire climate control system was centrally operated. We were advised to open a window but being on the 5th floor with 2 very young children this wasn't practical. They said they'd have a technician look at it, but I had to chase the next morning and on the afternoon of the second day I was told nothing could be done. We were offered a 10% discount which was fine, but I would have rather we'd all got a good night's sleep.

The buffet dinner (at 105KN) was very good value. All you can eat and our kids ate free. It wasn't 4* food, but it was plentiful and it was good to get some fresh vegetables into our systems. The breakfast was less impressive. The cooked breakfast comprises cocktail sausages, bacon, eggs or omelete which would be fine if they kept the trays stocked. I had to wait for the eggs and sausages to be re-filled on a couple of occassions. The continental breakfast was very good.

They offer complimentary use of an I-PAD in front reception which is useful and hot coffee/tea gratis in the lobby. Unfortunately, on the five or six occassions I helped myself to a coffee it was stone cold. A good idea, but not if its not managed correctly.

All in all a good hotel. The staff are very helpful and the hotel offers value for money, spacious rooms and an excellent location. The biggest issue by far was the inability to control the temperature in our room.

Room Tip: Get an Executive Suite. The little bit extra is worth every penny.

This is a very nice hotel in a good location in Zagreb. The people who work there are pleasant and helpful. The rooms are nice, the bathrooms large and all is clean and tidy. The breakfast is very nice. They had at least 10 types of cheese, meats, yogurt, cereal, breads, etc. They also had hot foods with two types of eggs, meats, veggies, pancakes and crepes. The coffee was fine but the juice wasn't real juice.

When they called me a taxi, they used Eco cab which is the cheapest in the city. It only cost 95 kuna to the airport.

Room Tip: Stay away from the front of the hotel. Street noise is a problem unless the a/c is on and the windo...

The hotel is situated approx 2 min walk from the main station and 5-10 min walk from the central town square.

The hotel was clean and the staff very freindly and helpfull.

Our room was clean and big enough. it was equiped with TV, tea and coffee making facilities, safe, air con and mini bar. The room was very quiet at night.

The bathroom was spacious, the only minor complaint was the size of the shower cubical (it was on the small size).

Breakfast was very good, with a variety of different food and drinks (including- bacon, sausage eggs, etc).

A solid 4* city center property. Good location, nice rooms, tasteful decor great breakfast and good value. Located very close to the train station and tram lines, a 10 minute walk to the historic center. The breakfast buffet is varied and top notch.

Room Tip: Be sure to ask for non-smoker as two or three floors are for smokers
