Lucked out and saw a wedding. There is an overview near the funicular. Great view of the city. Wish we had more time.

Very interesting old architecture and shops to explore. You can take the funicular up if you don't want to "climb" up.

Our young, informative guide led us through the marvelous streets of Upper Town. We wandered in and out of cathedrals, small streets and through the market. We got a real sense of Zagreb and its people.

Upper Town of Zagreb is a place which must be visited. There are a series of objects that reflect the history of the city. Point to a long tradition of living. There is also the headquarters and a number of state institutions (Parliament, Government). There are also churches (St. Mark, St.. Catharine) and a number of museums. On the Upper Town under the Tower Lotrscak overlook the rest of the city.
