We stayed here for three nights in May 2014. The rooms are a great price and the building is close to the tram line so it is easy to get to the main square. There are restaurants, bank machines and grocery stores in the immediate area. The room that we stayed in could probably use a renovation - maybe some new paint. But it wasn't bad. Totally acceptable for a three night stay at an affordable price in Zagreb. I would stay again.

Room tip: If you're travelling with a child, you will have to bring your stroller and baggage up a few flights of stairs.

Owner doesn't speak much English but was friendly, if you have any questions about Zagreb it's better to head to the tourist info office in the main square! Tram is cheap enough so no issues on getting there, it's the Sveti Duh stop, number 2 or 6 from either the bus station or the train station. Room was nice enough, bathroom didn't seem to have been cleaned properly though. TV had about 30 channels, lots of American ones and ones for children! So plenty of choice if you speak English! Noise was a bit of an issue, you can hear everyone in the other rooms coming and going so they will wake you up if they get up earlier or come in later than you! Also the owner will inadvertently wake you up and keep you awake when she comes in to check in other guests as the doors/walls are very thin! The room had air-con which was great but really could have done with a fridge and bin as well. There is a kettle for tea and coffee in the hallway but nowhere cold to store milk! Shame really, if the room had a fridge it would be almost perfect!

There are 3 rooms here for guests. The owner does not stay in here. She lives nearby. As I had a personal issue, the owner here really helped me a lot !

Also, you can have....
A/C, TV, Big Wardrobe, Map, water boiler and wifi.

The room is very clean and still new. Bathroom is roomy, I quite enjoyed staying here. You can totally keep your own privacy.
Said that, the location is not super excellent. It is still considered as a good location, you can get there by tram, the closest tram station is 'Sveti Duh'. If you walk to city center from Sobe Zagreb, it will take 30 minutes or so. From the main bus station, it took 30 minutes for me to get to Sobe Zagreb including walking from the closest tram station. It is very easy to get to, though. Just follow the instruction.
If you walk up to the main street (ILICA), there are some cafes and bakery but there is not anything right next to Sobe Zagreb. Don't forget to get drink before heading back to Sobe Zagreb !

Payment is Cash only.

Room tip: I chose a single room but there are 2 single beds in there.
