Beautiful location and place. Everyone will find something for themselves on rather short but interesting menu. Equisit food, fine vine list and great staff, always a great evening out, but rather expencive.

Delicious food, efficient service and refined decor make this a great place for a working lunch. The lime scampi risotto is my favorite but is not always on the menu. There is a large ceiling window on one side of the restaurant that provides lots of light, the other side is darker for those who want a little more privacy. The restaurant is set back from the street in an alley and can be hard to spot. Just look for the sign above the sidewalk at the alley entrance.

it's a type of restaurant you have to go because everyone is talking about him. Even the critics are saying it's the best in town and the people are enthusiastic about it's food. And then comes reality check. Food is okay, nothing special for that price range. It's nothing inovative and what you would expect for that kind of high class restaurant. Don't get me wrong, it was delicous and everything was ok (especially our waitress) but it's far wawy from the title of best Croatian restaurant. A little bit overpriced. Also it's the place were people come to be seen so expect a lot "fancy" dressed people who want to flaunt their money and show they have "good" taste.

Unlike many restaurants in Zagreb where ambitions ended with fancy inner decoration and designer chairs, they know how too cook here. Service might be improved. Please note that there are 2 restaurants and only the one in the upper town has outdoor seating. The one in the city center is not so great - the restaurant has no windows. Yet, the food is good.

OK, so this was supposed to be one of the best restaurants in Croatia. Supposedly it has a foreign owner which should guarantee a high level of service as well (usually service provided in restaurants in Croatia leaves a bad taste in customer's mouth). We went there as a couple and weren't satisfied with the quality and the freshness of the food provided. Octopus salad was barely edible, bread they serve was probably one or two days old (why not bake your own bread?) and the staff had no idea of the wine list - they had to do a separate check on three different wines once they finally established what was available for order.
Mind you, for all this you will be paying top dollar, probably double or triple the price of a decent restaurant in downtown Zagreb. Not worth it - foreigners, inquire with the locals for better places instead of this one.
