Very nice decorated interior with lots of love and traditional details, nice and warm staff, great, original food from Dalmatinska zagora (some things like frogs and snails you can taste only here, the others are waste of time and money), wonderful owners you can always ask for recommendations or even some politic overview in the country... you should not miss this in Zagreb!

Nice atmosphere,but slow waitress. Also food has too many garlic in it, they should first ask guests about that. But it is delicious.

The best food in Zagreb.

It was recommended to us by a waiter in a pub on Tkalciceva street among 2 others and neither of them left us unsatisfied. Good, hearty food portions. We had the grandfather's plate which was very tasty, and the roasted frog and eel with polenta.

The next day we had the veal and potatoes cooked under iron lid for 2 hours which you should order ahead of time. We walked around the Mirogoj cemetary(25 mins away) and 2 hours later we had it and it was a delicious and satifying dish. The steak we ordered was very tender - I can't remember ever having a steak as delicious and tender as that one in London.

Also, if you have a sweet tooth ask for the donuts which come with 2 different delicious cheeses with an additional plum jam.

Our waiter Edi (?) was super friendly and funny, we even got handmade fridge magnets. Defintely a must place to visit everytime you are in Zagreb.

I ate dinner at Konoba Dodov San today and enjoyed the food very much. I had the veal and lamb platter, at the server's recommendation, and the creme brûlée! The entire meal was delicious and the service was very good! I highly recommend the restaurant. Also, it is located in a lovely historic part of town, up a hill. Very interesting architecture.
