This hotel has the undeniable advantage of being very quiet, but I suspect that this is because it's almost empty. The rooms are spacious and scrupulously clean. The staff are professional, but very cool. Which is more than I can say for the rooms. Excuse me, but do you have to heat each room to 250°C? On the one hand, it's a novel experience to be able to sleep naked on top of the bed without covers, but I personally like my sleeping space to be a bit less sauna-like. Anyway, all things considered, you could do a lot worse than stay here.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the façade, as Sofia has a real problem with packs of stray dogs, and at ni...

Very good hotel. I've only spent one night there, but I think I will return next time that I'll visit Sofia. The price was under 60 euros, which is good for a 4 star hotel. The location is convenient, close to the ring road and the new Bulgaria Mall.

I spent one night for a business meeting in this hotel which is located in the outskirts of Sofia's city centre. Fairly easy to get there from the airport through the "ring", it takes about 25-30mins. For those with a car, there are some parking places available all around.
My reception by the front desk staff was similar to the weather: cold. But the stay was very cheap, the room was just okay, with a better than average bathroom with amenities. Also, good minibar. No problems with the cleanliness either, but still, the hotel had a strange, boring feeling.
I did not find it cosy at all; the small bar is located in the gallery, but without normal seating, the restaurant is dark and the food was just okay. Breakfast selection was poor. I could vsit again, but only for a short stay. The biggest catch is that it is cheap, compared to the service.

I stayed in the hotel 6 nights, in a double room for single use. The rooms are very nicely furnished, with comfortable beds and good quality towels. The only thing missing was water cattle that I am so used to staying in other Bulgarian hotels. If I wanted to have warm tea before going to sleep I had to go down to the bar, which often was already closed.

Conference facilities, especially the top floor conference room, are great. Catering was good, and staff very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is rather far away from the center, but you can easily reach it by tram or taxi. It takes 10-15 minutes to drive to the center, 1 Leva on tram (0.5 Euro) or 6 Leva taxi (3 Eur), which is totally affordable. There is almost nothing in the close vicinity of the hotel. Restaurants and bars are walking distance, approx. 15-20 minutes from the hotel.

In general, I would recommend this hotel for business travelers, but not for tourists wanting to get a night spirit of Sofia.

Always a good sign when you arrive at 02.00 hrs and the person on reception smiles, welcomes and books you in with no fuss. Rooms are spacious but HOT HOT HOT - no matter what i tried i could not get the aircon to do anything except blow warm air - when the temp hit 27 degrees I gave up and opened the window. Great staff front of house - waiters are a bit dour but the waitresses are not so maybe that's a Bulgarian thing? Breakfast is stronger on choice continental-wise and the 'full English' is a bit electic however this isn't England so when in Rome.....
Room service menu is tight choice-wise but portions are large to generous and good value. The food in the restaurant is straight forward non-gourmet fare - well presented and nicely cooked. They do have a big conference business so breakfast can be crowded and choice limited if you leave it too late. Weddings and parties do stretch resources a little but lets be honest this happens in more places than just Sofia. In that case there is an excellent restaurant about 10 mins slow walk from the hotel.
Wifi in my room was patchy so a quick call and reception came up with a cable and all was resolved. Good connection and fast too.
I actually used their conference facilities there which were excellent and staff could not do enough to help.
This hotel is NOT in the centre and getting in with the morning taxi can be a slog due to the volume of traffic - however the location is good for business rather than sight-seeing.
Loved it - will use it again without doubt.

Room Tip: make sure if you smoke you get a terrace/ balcony as all rooms are non-smoking.

I've stayed in the festa hotel a number of times now and have no problem returning again, but there are some funny quirks! The curtains never quite seem to fit all the window so you end up with a gap and the angle of the shower head depends on the pressure of water! I find this amusing rather than a pain but some may think it bad. The food is good, I've had better and worse in Sofia, but the choice is a bit limited. The staff are happy to help and friendly. I've not tried the basement whiskey bar, I think it's more a boys thing if you know what I mean. If you don't mind the little quirks this is a reasonable hotel.

A comfortable business hotel, removed from the hubbub of central Sofia. Have stayed there at least 5 times at the time of the writing. The rooms are well furnished, but not extravagantly so. Breakfast is just OK, havent had lunch or dinner there yet. The service staff are prompt and friendly.
