One of the main monuments to see in the city. In the center of the city. Very interesting architecture. A must during your visit.

This is the largest and highest temple on the Bolcan peninsula! The domes are covered in gold and you can see the Saint´s hand inside!

Church was very nice from the outside. Inside had a lot of interesting pictures and paintings but not much else. I have seen a lot of churches across Europe and this was nothing special.

as this was the main monument to be visited in the city, i decided to walk past. I first saw it at night and it was like magic, the building architecture is amazing and if it had not been for the cold I would still be there looking at it in the morning. I went inside and was really taken by a ceremony. ( not that I know much about the Orthodox religion). However I was really surprised by the lack of furniture inside the Church. People stand up for the whole ceremony. Definitely, worth the detour.

Enormous value for Bulgarian history. Beautiful outside even more beautiful (and rich) inside. This church is special for every christian on the world.
