Beautiful design, gorgeous views, amazing service, perfect location.
The rooms are spacious, well-designed and super clean.
The staff is friendly and professional.
Smack in the center of town, across from the Nvesky Cathedral.

Perfect location and a great mix of high class and young design and atmosphere.
Spend 3 nights in this affordable 5 star hotel and would be glad to return to the nice big bed and excellent shower. Staff are mostly helpful and polite with relatively good English. The only disappointment part was breakfast which lacked in variety, plus the hot drinks cost extra, not a true 5 star experience. The top floor bar has a great city view. All in all - big thumbs up!

From the moment we arrived and were greeted with a glass of champagne, we knew we were going to be well-looked after at the Sense hotel. The staff were attentive and discreet but also very friendly if you started talking to them. Our room was huge with a comfortable bed and plenty of space to move around, separate easy chairs and a large desk under the TV. The TV also had internet which was great. There was a separate dressing room with plenty of storage/hanging space and a large bathroom with rain shower.
The breakfast buffet had something for everyone: lots of fresh fruit, cold and hot buffet, yoghurts, several bread choices, croissants and other pastries. Everything was excellent. Maybe the one thing they could do is provide freshly-squeezed fruit juices to drink.
We enjoyed using the spa area - small but well-equipped gym, a long pool and hot tub and sauna/steam area. We were given robes, towels and bottled water and there were full fruit bowls next to the loungers.
The bar on the 9th floor had great views and was even v. busy on a Sunday evening.
The location of the Sense hotel is perfect for exploring the centre of Sofia. You can walk to all the main sights easily and there are also plenty of restaurants nearby. The tourist office is 2 minutes walk in the metro station below the university. The furthest places were probably Vitosha Boulevard and the Borisova Gradina park - about 10 minutes walk!
If we return to Sofia, we will definitely stay here again and in the meantime, we would recommend it to everyone.

This is a great hotel. It's right in the center of Sofia, near the stunning Alexander Nevsky Cathedral which means it is within walking distance of all major sights. I asked for and got a quiet room at the end of the corridor on the 6th floor (606). Quiet for me often means no view but that is my tradeoff for a good night's sleep. The room was overlooking a uninteresting courtyard but I could see the snow topped mountains in the near distance. It was a great view from the floor to ceiling windows (with blackout drapes). And most importantly, it was quiet and I got a good night's sleep. I even slept with the window open. I heard no noise from the other rooms. I should mention that on Friday night, I heard thumping disco music as I got off the elevator. Since my room was far from the elevator, it gradually faded but I was still aware of it in my room. It was coming from the 9th floor bar. I called reception and they said they would ask them to lower it (the bar is just a bar, not a club). They didn't but it ended at 1am. Luckily, I was still up at that time. I was expecting the same the next night but there was nothing, so maybe reception did talk to them. Although it was only a small glitch, I feel I should mention it for those who need peace and quiet. You should keep this in mind when you make your reservation as the location of your room will make all the difference.

The room itself was lovely, a great mix of glass and wood, with a large comfortable bed, great lighting, cotton sheets and a wood floor. The bathroom had a big walk-in shower also with wooden slats. It had a hand held shower attached to the wall. I thought this was the showerhead and as I stepped in and held it, waiting for the water to warm up, I was blasted by cold water coming from the hidden rain-shower in the ceiling. Nice way to wake up, so thank you, Sense! Towels, washcloth, bathrobe, good lighting and luxury toiletries were provided. There was a large flat screen TV with a million channels in English. Not only all the major news stations but also HBO, Cinemax and other entertainment channels.

There was a safe, an espresso machine and a water kettle in addition to the mini-bar. You were charged for tea or coffee but I think that should have been complimentary. My room did not include breakfast so I did not eat at the hotel. There were no cafes that open before 8 am in the vicinity and I needed to be places at 9 so I ate in my room after shopping at the nearby Billa supermarket. Try the white cheese!

Reception was superb. They couldn't do enough for you. They gave me the room I wanted and when I was having a problem with my credit card, they were very patient for a few days until it was worked out. I essentially stayed there for 2 days without a credit card guarantee. I highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Away from the rooftop bar in case they decide to play loud music. End of the corridor and away from...

This place is just amazing from its rooms on the 8th floor and its bar restaurant on the 9th where you can admire Vitosha mountains at its best. This is a very modern hotel with an excellent service. Every one here is helpful and they maintain a high level of service in every department. The hotel is close to the yellow pavement area, Nevski cathedral and lots of bars and restaurants.

In light of otherwise poor choice and plenty of old hotels in dire need of refurbishment, this new comer in Sofia has all one should expect:
- downtown location, almost in front of the Parliament, can not make it any more central
- beautiful design, very modern, with nice mix of glass, steel and wood
- great, large and comfortable rooms
- last but not least, great rooftop bar with nice view 360 degrees

All in, perfect and small boutique hotel.
