“VITOSHA HIKING TOUR”
Reviewed June 24, 2012

We had a day free in Sofia so chose the walking trip to the Boyana church, waterfall and lake.
We were met by our fantastic guide Sava and then took a 15 ride in a local cab to the famous church with it's fascinating architecture and trees. From there a steep climb via the river to the waterfall where Sava pulled out a bottle of wine. Then down to the lake before making our way back to the monastery and back to the city.
Remember to take water and food. We went on a hot day- the entire walk is in the shade but I was glad to have taken 1.5liters of water.
Although the trip is free, Sava truly deserved the tip we gave.

“Get to see Sofia”
Reviewed June 17, 2012 via mobile

This tour was a great way to get to see the city! We did the 1h tour (lazy tour) and got to see the most important things around the city centre. The guide was nice and knew a lot.
The tour is free! Anyway, we donnated a little something to support this great project. We also got two maps; a bike tour map and the "cartoon maps". That one is extremly handy as it tells you on the back side, all the things you need to know like how much tip you should give, common phrases, customs...
To sum up: Do it!

“Informative and relaxed tour”
Reviewed May 27, 2012

A great way to see Sofia. Easy bikes to ride and the route is really flat and at a relaxed pace. Very informative. I loved realising that the so many parks are in the city, so many buildings of interest. Guide was very efficient and knowledgeable.
