Overall experience was very good. All personal from Traventuria was very professional, friendly and on-time.Accommodation was good in all places.Instructions to follow the trails was very clear and precise.I´d suggest to have the option to spend one night in Plovdiv at the end of the tour to have more time to explore the city. Food quality was good in all places; Nevertheless. We would have liked to have at least two options to choose in Trigrad. There, If you don´t like one of the dishes, no other option was available.Landscape was beautiful and routes were quite nice and varied. Less attractive for us was the day 2 in Trigrad as landscape was very repetitive. Regards.

"Walking in the Steps of Orpheus" is a great opportunity to see different aspects of Bulgaria- the nature, the cities, the villages and the so welcoming people.

Superb guided hiking tour of the Pirin and Rila mountains in Bulgaria. Not for the faint-hearted, this was serious mountain trekking up some of the highest peaks in the Balkans. Friendly, knowledgeable and supportive guide; good, but simple, accommodation, and a fine set of hikers to walk with. Try it, you won't regret it, and you'll know you've accomplished something!

The initial contact with Traventuria via the mail and chats was friendly, prompt and helpful. The route information was comprehensive enough to follow the tracks. It was very pleasant walking in the hills and forests. It was great to relax and enjoy the quietness. The locals I met along the way were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was good and the food fine.I do wonder if there could not have been a little more variation in the routes, it was very much forests and open spaces. It would have been nicer also if the first two hotels were a little more traditional, similar to the the last two.All with all I would certainly recommend this trip.

Excellent tour company, very well organised, easy to locate meeting point, clean minibus with professional and safe driver. The tour was well organised and the guide provided an excellent overview of the church and monastery. They are both fascinating places to discover and would recommend to anyone in Sofia.
One tip is try the trout at Rila, it's beautiful.

We combined the Rila 7 lakes hike with Malyovitska climb over a two-day private guide tour. Our guide Todor, couldn't have been more patient and accommodating. He is a really good storyteller and photographer as well! We got really lucky with the weather and encountered some of the most stunning views in Europe. We'll be sure to come back for more.
