The Sheraton recommended this place when I asked for a good restaurant serving trad fare with light options. The duck (most expensive item) was recommended by our waiter who it turns out could not understand a word of English, but pretended he could (although he could say "no service included" perfectly clearly). My husband chose what was described as a beef filet, turns out it was a stroganoff of sorts. My duck was cold, the magret was far too rare, i.e. raw. We did not receive the wine we ordered and our wine was kept away from our table so when our waiter disappeared, which was regularly, we had to go get it ourselves.

I had planned on leaving a tip, but not 10%, as it turns out had no option as the change never came back and our waiter vanished.

Don't bother!

We were advised to try this place for some typical Bulgarian food.

The place is nice and couzy.

But we faced a few problems regarding the waiters. They took to long to tale the order and bring the food and forgot to bring one of the dishes. We were in four and the fourth guy just had his food when we asked twice for it and were done eating.

The food was good, but the foir dishes were cold (I don't know if this is typical for them).

At the end, they tried to charge one cole more than we have ordered.

Excellent food, attentive staff who helped us select the right food and wine (not the most expensive) and as a result we had the best meal in 3 weeks travel through Turkey and Bulgaria.

Visited beginning of October after a recommendation from a Bulgarian. Really great place. A friend and I had spent 8 days in Bulgaria eating traditional local food throughout all of the time which we thoroughly enjoyed. Pri Yafata however was on another level. Much more gourmet in style. Friendly staff, lovely location and great food at a good price. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back next time i'm in Sofia.

I was very disappointed last time eating at this restaurant,September 23, the waiters were slow and disrespectful, preparing food took an enormous amount of time. Finally, waiters added to the bill by writing with a pen as their services cost 10 percent of the amount. very rude
