Located a bit from the noise of the center, but still close by, this hotel is a small hidden pearl of Bosnian cultural heritage. The interior of the hotel takes a modern, old-new approach, what you can already notice at the reception desk on the wall is a huge frame with an inside hand blanket. A delicious breakfast in the Bosnian style is served in the rustic glamor of the Austro-Hungarian restaurant. But that's not all. Jewelery from the Ottoman era and Austro-Hungarian jewelery was displayed on the tables. This place must be seen.
Staff and facilities are for every compliment.

We booked a family suite, which included a sitting room, bathroom, small kitchen and two separate bedrooms.

The rooms were spacious and nicely appointed with lots of natural light in the bedrooms though the living room area was quite dark. Very large bathroom but it takes a bit of gymnastics to get in to the shower (which was a very large bathtub).
The toilet was a bit loose and would rock back and forth during use.

Breakfast was only so-so but we were very well attended to by our hosts, who were very friendly and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Airport pickup was quick and easy, as was booking a tour right from the front desk.

Would stay there again, just have to bring a good pair of walking shoes and quit the cigarettes as it requires a fair amount of uphill walking to get there from the city center.

Just returned home from a lovely stay in Sarajevo. Hotel Michele was amazing from the very minute we arrived. The hotel arranged a transfer from the airport with a lovely man who gave us the history of the city on the way. When we arrived at the hotel we were met by a friendly welcome and a super quick check in which was much appreciated after our early start. Throughout our stay the staff could not have done anything more to make us feel comfortable, in fact it was more like staying with family. The breakfast was brilliant everyday with fresh eggs made to order. Our room was cleaned perfectly everyday and we were offered a hot drink every time we came back. Sorry I don’t know names but a special mention to the house keeper who was so kind and also to the man on reception who gave us loads of information about the city and also a list of places to visit that were not in our guide book but should have been. Overall Sarajevo was lovely made even better by our stay at Hotel Michele... thank you

We were a group of four. Friendly staff who were very responsive to our requests and helpful in general. Our rooms were clean with spacious bathrooms. Prayer calls could be heard during the night from the mosque nearby. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Room Tip: Good location just outside the old twon
