Generally, it is a good hotel with a good value for the money. The location isn't so great as they say, it is on a hill, but not very far from the city center. Breakfast was ok, rooms are clean and well kept.

Room Tip: Ask them to give you a room which windows don't look at a yard with very noisy dog!

Last two days of our 8 days holidays were spoiled because of a rude receptionist we had to encounter in the hotel. Despite she was suspended from her position during our stay, our feelings could not change.

Our room had not been cleaned but just re-organized. Had to change the room. Our firends room had a non functioning shower... Too much noise of the cars passing by and so on..

The place is in walking distance to the old town's Bashchargia,

Perhaps some improvements have been done since a lot of these reviews were written, because I found the decor charming and interesting (what with the historical photos), and the breakfast varied: eggs, cheeses, whole-grain bread, sweet bread/rolls, milk and cereal, yogurt, fresh melon, tomatoes and cucumbers, juices, and turkish coffee (and I'm probably leaving some stuff out).

But what I really want to talk about is the service. I came to Sarajevo on a school trip and got heat stroke (severely dehydrated, went to the ER, etc.). The staff was extremely accommodating, checked in on me as I rested in one of the rooms, brought me water and damp towels, etc. They were amazing, and one of the very best parts of my stay there.

Other little notes. I don't know why, but I loved the showers! I found the water pressure just right and the temperature easy to adjust. We were transferred into a room with air conditioning our second day there, and it was really very nice even with 90+ temps outside. It may be a bit far from city center, but taxi prices were not expensive (about 5 from the restaurant we were at). Do be aware that people smoke here, and you will smell cigarette smoke from the hallways/common areas, but we didn't smell any in our room itself.

The room I got was smaler than what is normal european standard. The shower did not work as it should, and the claening could have been better. The staff was friendly, Search the city map before booking this hotel. It is about 800 meter with climbing from the old part of the city.

Room Tip: Room 212 was much better than 214

We were in this hotel for two nights douring our ex-YU trip. We made online reservation via email in advance and everything was OK whe we arrived. Hotel was clean, rooms are large. We had two rooms for 6 (2 adults, 4 kids). Top floor room had own air conditioning and was quite hot during summer (-1/2 star). Hotel is a bit pricy (-1/2 star), but you get bed at the Sarajevo centre with private parking and free internet in nice, clean hotel with warm welcome and generous staff with unlimited hospitality. Food was excellent and we left this hotel with good experience.

Room Tip: Try to avoid top floor in summer.

The hotel was staffed with wonderful staff, but by American standards did not measure up. It was a bit dirty and the rooms were decorated in the 70s and not updated. The location was not bad. There was a bit of walk to the center of Sarajevo which was down the hill. No air conditioning, but the staff did find a fan for our room. Breakfast was basic. Coffee bar was extra and that fact was not posted. We found out when we settled our bill. A good rule of thumb in the area is to ask what is included as there were many hidden charges for things that we expected were complimentary.

I've been there for one night and must say it's not good enough. If you are planning to stay for short time, you'll live through this, but for longer period, find your self something better. Hotel is not so near to Old Town. If you are older person and climbing up the hill is hard for you - this hotel is not for you.
When you enter the room it looks clean. But, then you will find spider net all around the room. Towels are clean, and original they were white, but now - something gray, and parts are missing. Shampoo and shower gel are in the bottles that were used by others.
The shower was liking,...
The staff is nice, and hotel lobby looks good. There is big parking. Also, you will find TV with satellite channels, that I find good.
