I love that it is hosted in the Old Temple, Kal vijež, that is still used for prayer on Yom Kippur. The ground floor is open for visits but that is where the Yom Kippur prayers take place. The next two floors are dedicated to the, mostly Sephardic, history of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Jewish community, the Holocaust. It has beautifully encased items that are easy to enjoy. The guide, Mario Kabiljo is very knowledgable and helpful, too, don't miss his tour of the Museum.
