I'm going to go ahead and repeat the other reviews, basically. The hostel is in a good location with everything you really need -- no frills -- but in a city with so many hostels it's the staff that make or break the experience. The "24-hour" reception was closed most of the time, making it also impossible to access the kitchen and common area, and the staff acted like they were doing you a huge favour when it was open. If that doesn't bother you, there's nothing wrong with the hostel.

As previously reviewed ... The location is perfect! Only 5-10 min walk to the old town and you only need to take one street to get there, so no chance of getting lost!

The room was clean, the showers were ok and the staff weren't the friendliest but they were by no means rude! If you want no frills, cheap and really central location then go for it!

The hostel is situated right in the center of Sarajevo, 20 meters from shops, bank, bars and tram stop for the train station.
Inside was quite clean an the staff was very friendly. The hostel was incredibly cheap
Unfortunately my dorm was too little for eight people and there were only a bathroom for one floor...
Anyway, this can happens when you book a hostel so for me was all great, because I didn't expect a grand hotel.

Located right on the tram line, close to the Turkish çarşı (market) and Ferhadija, the pedestrian street, in the heart of Sarajevo, Tito46 has an open courtyard on the first floor with lots of plush couches to lay on. Upstairs, the dorm rooms are spacious enough for an 8-bed to not feel cramped. However, only two bathrooms makes for some waiting time. The staff was also a bit distant. They like to tout a tour of the Sarajevo tunnel for €15. Look around and price compare before you go though. It's a hugely important part of the history of the city, but I felt it was overpriced.

Room Tip: Courtyard rooms are much quieter than the street side rooms.

Loved the prime location of Tito46 next to the exciting part of town, but they had a major shortage of key cards to get into the room so we had to share or they were pairing up people to hang out at night. Not the safest place either but the main room is really nice.

We stayed in this hostel recently, the first night was ok- although the 6 bed dorm was very hot - no a/c or fan and the window only opens about 2 inches because of the position of the beds. The door to the dorm (which is on the reception level) also doesn't lock and the main door is also never locked, which feasibly means that anyone could walk in off the street at any time and walk directly into the dorm (without having to pass reception). Which, to me seems a bit of a safety issue...

Our main problem however, came on our second night. We were told that we had not been booked in for that night- despite the fact that we had booked using hostel bookers and had paid for 2 nights on arrival the evening before. The lady who worked in the hostel then logged into hostelbookers realised the mistake was theirs, and then proceeded to blame another colleague "who doesn't work for us, but updates the systems sometimes". As they had double booked our room, we were then told that we would have to sleep on the sofas of the 24 hour reception - despite the fact we had already spent a night at the hostel, had paid for 2 nights and were two girls (our beds were given to two guys).

The situation was finally rectified - thanks to two girls staying in another room (who had paid for a twin room) who allowed us to stay in their room. However, had they not agreed to this, we would have been expected to sleep in the 24hour reception (which, as I mention is open to anyone who wants to walk through the main door).

On a plus note, the hostel is in a good location, close to the older part of town. However, I could not recommend it.

I stayed for two nights with a friend in a 8 bed mixed dorm. The location was great, just in the city center. Beds were cosy, and general condition of the hostel were good. Small remark is that we got only linen without blanked to cover. Although it was summer, sometimes you just need extra warmth. The major problem was that it had only one bathroom for about 20 people on the floor. So we found ourselves queuing for more than half an hour, although all rooms were not fully occupied. Other thing is that staff was not really friendly, and we had a feeling that we are unwelcome.
