“Very pleasant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2013

We took a taxi from old town to Vrelo Bosna,it took 20 minutes and 20 km.We started from the vrelo and walked around.water everywhere with ducks and swans in it,sometimes there were small water falls. Beautiful! There was snow around and it was cold. So we took a carriage in blankets towards Iljiza. It took about 10-15 minutes and we paid 15 km. Local people were walking or jogging. There are hotels and restaurants with names of Austria,Hungary and Herzegovinia.Bosna is being built. We walked to the main road and again took a taxi to center which cost 14 km.
I am glad we took the chance of a sunny clear winter day to see such nice place.

“This is really something to see!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 5, 2013

Aldo it was end of a winter when i visited this area, this is really something special. To bad i had only couple of hours to visit this, i could spent a whole day here! I can only imagine how does it looks like during spring when everything is green. It's so clear and you can really enjoy fresh air. I sincerely recommend everyone to visit this, you can enjoy horse carriage ride through that "Velika aleja"-3,2km of trees in a line,(7,5€) but you don't have to spent a single cent and spent a whole day there.

“Water, Water Everywhere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2013

In the summer, combined with Veliki Aleja, this is a great walk. There are little ponds with a variety of waterfowl whose babies are fun to watch. You can stroll around, and just sink onto the grass and read or listen to music. It can be quite crowded in the evenings, as it is a popular spot for the locals. There are some cafes and street vendors.
In wintertime, it is very wet and cold - the kind that seeps into your bones, so dress appropriately.

“An urban oasis”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 19, 2012

A blink from the city, you'll find a complex of lakes that is Vrelo Bosne.
Here you can unwind, get some fresh air, grab a nice meal. And when you're done you can have a carriage drive you back to the city.
It's fall now, so I can only imagine how wonderful it is during winter or summer, when everything is covered in snow or in full bloom.
A sight that needs to be seen.
