Funky flashpackers is such a good party hostel, ever in need get Mark involved what a decent geezer!!! Always there to help and get involved in the party and games!! The pool vibes in the daytime are so sick and the 32 bed dorms ain't even bad!!!! The wifi is temperamental but apart from that it's all grand!!!!

We visited Satajevo for a long weekend and we ended up doing two tours with SAFT because we were very happy with the first one. This was a tour to Mostar which took most of the day from 8am to 9pm and it is definitely worthwhile. Our guide was a Dutch masters student who was ver knowledgeable in the history of Sarajevo, the region and the history of the whole SE Europe (the topic of his master's degree) and we learned a lot and had many interesting conversations with them. My only suggestion for improvement for the Mostar toor is to make sure you leave enough time to enjoy Mostar at is is scheduled for the end of the day and we had to rush it a bit. The second tour was the Total Siege tour and our guide was the owner of SAFT, Skendar who is from Sarajevo. Skendar is very passionate about his tours and he gave us an incredible amount of information (in almost flawless English) about the history of Sarajevo and in particular during the Bosnian War. It is definitely worth doing this or another tour with him to get a local (Bosciak) viewpoint of that horrific period in the history of the region. Oh and when at the end he suggests you drive up the hill to see the old winter olympics facilities to enjoy the view, say yes it is really worth it! In the end he even dropped us at the airport to catch our flight so we didn't have to take a taxi.

Adel was amazing! Like a walking encyclopedia, he is very smart! He was able to give first hand account of the horrific devastating war. I feel fortunate to have met Adel and learned a lot from him. Thank you Adel! God bless you!

We booked our sightseeing tour from sarajevo to dubrovnik with sarajevo funky tours. Mr Skender with whom we corresponded took care of our itinerary by accommodating places on the way we wanted to visit. Mr Farookh was an excellent guide who gave us lot of information about places we visited and was very willing to accommodate us for photo shoot wherever we desired. Would definitely recommend this company to people who want to make the most of their short stay.
