Description: All the riches and varieties of magnificent Italian cuisine can be found in "Dolce Vita" - the restaurant of high cuisine. The decorations in pastel colors create a warm and cozy atmosphere. The elegant hall is perfect for business meetings, a solemn banquet, birthday and other family celebrations. The restaurant menu is thought over to trifles and surprises even experts on the Italian cuisine. Real gourmets may have no doubt that all the dishes are made of fresh products of the high quality and exact receipt maintenance. Chef's delicacies are tasty, beautiful and as simple as all ingenious.

“Stylish – but watch your pennies”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

The restaurant is located within the Crown Plaza hotel. It is a huge venue, tastefully decorated with attentive (though rather excessive in numbers) staff and plenty of ambiance.

The cuisine is a mixture of European, mainly Italian, and local dishes. The wine selection was not very extensive though it was on the pricey side.

The restaurant was empty on Sunday night. Part of the answer, no doubt, lies in its exorbitant prices it charges for its main courses. The 160g of lamb would set you back….$90 there. The restaurant would definitely benefit by moderating its high-end prices as the venue is quite agreeable and the quality of cooking outstanding.

However, you can eat reasonably priced dishes though the choice is very limited. We had local borsch and minestrone for starters with beautifully prepared chicken dish and salmon for mains. With the cheapest wine available, a snip at $45, we managed to squeeze in the dinner for $120 for two.

“Great food, music and service”
Reviewed August 23, 2012

I have visited this place twice and like the service - they are attentive and do their best to make you comfortable. The food was great, but the desserts a bit disappointing: tiramusu comes in a high glass and it's not what you expect. Creme brulée has a surprise inside which is a layer of chocolate. I like creme brulée without chocolate. The piano music was really wonderful - though if you want to hear it, check that the pianist is there - he has his free days sunday-monday. I really disliked though that all the plants in this restaurant are fake.

“Average”
Reviewed October 10, 2011

Restaurant "Dolce Vita" is located inside the Crown Plaza Hotel and therefore is very convenient for hotel guests. We went there on a Sunday evening and the huge restaurant was pretty empty which gave the feel of an even bigger location.

The interior is "Lounge style", crème-beige-brown, the staff very attentive.

I had a tomato soup which was quite tasteless until I put a lot of salt in it. My main, risotto with mushrooms was okay, not bad. The Focaccia bread actually was pretty good.

Prices - for the location inside the only international Hotel in Minsk - are okay.
