An interesting restaurant. Trying to be exclusive, maybe for rich people from Minsk who have struggled to afford these prices. Personally, as a Westerner, I have not struggled so hard, and this kind of restaurant in the West is one I would avoid. BUT the food was good - an average and small onion soup but a very good salmon pasta. And the bread selection was good - unusual in Eastern Europe and often a sign of a decent restaurant. A real negative was the absence of local beer on the menu - are they too special to stock local beer? But on asking they produced a really excellent local beer that I enjoyed. But truly - it is an insult to the host country not to show a local beer on the menu.
For me what Minsk really needs is a restaurant in a good location with good service and GREAT food. This isn't it. Its a restaurant in a great location with good service and (for Minsk) well above-average food. The prices are too high for Minsk, but with careful selection the soup and pasta with local beer is 30 Euros, so not bad at all for Western prices.
So ... trying too hard to be exclusive, but ok for a visit if you order carefully.
