I was actually staying in a hotel nearby but I chose to come to this hotel every morning for breakfast.
The staff were very helpful and friendly the breakfast was lovely and all at a great cost.
The location is literally 5 minutes from the city centre

Don’t even think of checking in at one of Tirana’s trumpeting corporate hotels if you want to experience the heartbeat of this funky city and meet some of its most endearing people. “Brilant Antik” is what it name-claims to be; a brilliant antique hotel, a welcoming haven just three streets or eight minutes from centre point Skanderbeg Square. The welcoming Prendi family have turned an old town mansion into a gem of a boutique hotel on a quiet laneway where Rr. Jeronim de Rada Street meets George W. Bush Street. Yes Tirana, the once communist era almost “closed” city, offers a particularly warm, flag waving welcome to U.S. visitors. As an Irish couple back-packing in the Balkans we were also made to feel hugely welcome and valued guests. This was a TripAdvisor triggered hotel stay that almost instantly became a friendship.
Brilant Antik is a cosy, ornate hotel with comfortable oak furnished bedrooms, spacious bathrooms, engaging folk artwork filled reception areas and a medieval styled basement dining room which served great food at great prices. The hotel is perfectly located for visiting all of Tirana’s attractions; there’s the large Toptani Shopping Centre across the road; the charming adjoining pedestrian street, Shetitorja Murat Toptani with its bars and restaurants and Bunk’Art2 the intriguing Albanian history museum inside a surreal, preserved, Communist-era military bunker as well as the must see National Museum on Skanderbeg Square.
We felt “Brilant Antik” was very good value at €70 B&B for one of the best rooms in the hotel; dinner for two at under €25 was exceptional. Veal fillet and chicken with orange sauce at c.€6 were excellent value; the menu also had oven baked lamb, sea bass, shrimp in brandy sauce and seafood spaghetti and mushroom linguine all from €6 to €7 with delicious deserts Tiramisu and Pannacotta as well as fresh fruit for €3 or less.
Hotel Antik staff couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive. Meeting the hotel’s gracious owner Eleonora (Nora) Prendi was a joy; daughter Titizana was an encyclopaedia of useful information and concierge Hermes appeared at reception every time he sensed we needed direction, translation or advice on how to find something or anything in this colourful, tourist/traveller welcoming city.

Room tip: Access is by stairway; first floor rooms are the most accessible

We stayed at the Brilant Antik twice, both before and after trekking in the Accursed Mountains in Northern Albania. Our rooms during both stays were quiet (the hotel is located on a side street in central Tirana) and impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed, good shower and strong A/C. Artha and her staff were very helpful in accommodating our requests -- storing extra baggage while we were trekking, acting as interpreters when we called Albanian speakers, and loaning us a local cell phone when the international calling plan on our phone wasn't working! Breakfasts in the downstairs dining room were well-prepared and filling. Highly recommended.

Excellent location in the center of Tirana, at walking distance from many attractions.
We parked in the street just outside the hotel.
Large, silent and clean room.
Very helpful and friendly staff.
Good breakfast.
Reasonably priced.

I Enjoyed my stay here. Central and high standards. Room 5 is beautiful! Great helpful staff. The only problem was the huge hard pillows and the noise from other slamming doors. Highly recommended . ...
