“Great”
Reviewed June 11, 2013

On schedule, the price is right, ship has plenty of room to sit. Always clean. HAs air conditionner for those very humid and hot days. They even offer snacks on board.

“Better under sail”
Reviewed May 26, 2013

Would have rather done it on the Bounty but.... VERY early start but didn't want to risk there being no spaces left for the car - take a car because you will be stuck otherwise but Moorea isn't that big anyway so not a major factor unless you are on a tight budget. Stormy day on my return but the crossing isn't really long enough for most people to hurl. ;)

“Free scenic tour , no extra charge for luggage .”
Reviewed May 7, 2013 via mobile

Got off a cruise and decided to go back to Moorea. Grabbed our bags at 8:30 and skipped about 200 yards and bought two tickets on the ferry. So clean , inside front was reserved for quiet , which people observed, no cells, talking etc. the back inside had a pastry / lunch bar and talking and drinks. Outside was for cell, scenic and people enjoying the weather . Great value , about 30 for two with luggage included. Drop your bags at the steel loading boxes. Buy the ticket at the window and save. Walk around the areas and have fun .
PS ...... If you decide to fly back the price is similar , but you get nailed on luggage prices .

“Fast, Comfortable and Efficient Service”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

We took the Aremeti 5 ferry to and from Moorea from Papeete.

It takes 30 minutes to cross and is big, spacious and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and the snack bar was surprisingly cheap.

1500XPF per person one way.

Buses to meet you from the ferry when you arrive in Moorea if you so desire. To collect your luggage come off the ferry at Moorea and turn right. Walk down and wait for the fork lift truck to bring the baggage containers to you. A bit chaotic!!
