“Best way to Moorea.”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

This is a real island experience. It takes about half an hour to get to Moorea with great scenery all along the way. If you sit on the bottom deck the windows are blocked, so get to deck 2 for sights. The seats are nicer in the front. There are open air bench seats up on the roof if you really want to see everything.

“cruise”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

this is a great way to get to Moorea and other islands. the trip to Moorea is short, pleasant and with the opportunity to stay on deck, the approach to Moorea is breathtaking. the return to Tahiti is also moving.

“Lovely views of the Pacific”
Reviewed January 13, 2013 via mobile

It was a lovely ferry ride from Papeete to Moorea. Part of the boat had air conditioning which is nice considering how hot it is down there. I liked that there was a "quiet" section- which was the air conditioned part. They had a little beverage/snack bar which was also nice because a lot of people taking that ferry have just been on planes for hours and hours and may need a drink.

The only bad thing was that the ferry departed 40 minutes to an hour later than it was supposed to which can be very irritating after such a long journey.

All in all, a nice way to travel between islands.

“Sunrise on the Aremiti”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

I took the ferry from Papeete over to Moorea on the 2 DEC 2012 and it was enjoyable as I had remembered it to be in the past/
For the first time of 8 trips to the islands I took the ferry back the next morning (for a flight to Taha'a)at sunrise and what an experieance. I first felt I was nuts but would do it again
