I haved book 4 days before feb 14 for the St-Valentine day at a luxury restaurant. The D-Day the restaurant called me and ask if I maintain my reservation, I did confirm YES, and the person on the phone said no problem you're on the list. I announce the surprise to my wife, so last night my wife dressed nice like all women do before going out for dinner. We arrive at the restaurant counter and the owner was there asking if we have a reservation. I gave my name and she check on her list but reply you don't have any reservation so I told her that I have a proof on my smartphone with the early call. Then she check again and same answer. I was angry but calm. So she look at her other reservation book and saw my name with a confirmation. Seems like they did not add my name to the paper list. What a shame! They didn't even tell any excuses. So we left the restaurant with anger. How can this happen, I was ready to spend $250.00 that night but we ended home and I went to a fast food. Incredible! They will need to hire a reputation management service because I will not let this happen again and will never put my foot at the door of this luxury restaurant but also bad reputation now.
