Fun place to visit when downtown Papeete, but food quality only average, and the drinks a little pricey. Good place for people watching, just across the road from the Moorea ferry docks.

If you are looking for the real Tahitian food, I would not recommend this place. Yes, it’s too touristy, it’s on the very busy street, it’s noisy and crowded, it’s not the cheap place, it’s not air-conditioned and service is slow - but if you want to have an excellent beer from their own brewery with a very good steak (or vice versa) on a large patio close to the waterfront – this bar/restaurant is the right place to go. They offer 5 or 6 different types of beer and a good choice of meals.

Liked the Amber, we didn't eat here but more of the lively bars. Good location across from ferry dock and near the Roulettes!

Les 3 Bs as our hotel front desk referred to this restaurant, is on a busy street adjacent to the cruise ship terminal in Papeete. It's typical french bistro, a casual menu, casual service and casual food. They brew their own beer and have a fun beer flight to taste a variety of their creations. One of their specialities is a pizza-like flatbread (we had the cheese version) which hit the spot after a plane ride from a neighbor island.

One thing to keep in mind if you are planning to check out Papeete prior to a return flight to the states on the weekend, the stores close at noon on Saturday and even the market clears out so there isn't much to do.

nice place I would recommend for all beer fans, great live music, I am not sure if that was just locals or some real professional band :))
