Mamacita's recently opened a location in Suva (Damodar City). The restaurant is small and when we were there was adequately staffed. We received efficient service. The menu has many tex mex favorites such as chimichangas, nachos, and burritos. The food was generally prepared/looked like you'd expect. I found the food OK but not great, although one can't really expect great food so far away from Mexico! I had the hole mole which was two small enchiladas (4-6 inch tortilla) in mole sauce served with salad and a spoon full of rice. The sauce was good but unfortunately, there wasn't much provided. I was dinning towards closing time so they may have run short. Considering the serving sizes and the fact that meals aren't served with basic sides (no rice, beans, or chips/salsa for the table), the prices are rather high (FJD $30 for mains). On the other hand, It's not like there's anywhere else in town where you can get a frozen margarita!
