“Worth a Visit”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

While you should not go here expecting the Smithsonian, it is still worth your time if you want to learn some of older history of Fiji, including the cannibal past. Go and enjoy the exhibits and the great local staff.

“Pretty place, awesome store...”

Nice little museum and sometimes interesting exhibitions. The best about it though is the museum shop!!! Best Fiji souvenirs that I've seen so far.

“Worht Visiting”
Reviewed December 22, 2012

This museum is not so big, but full of interesting collections. Especially, the gigantic canoe is worth seeing. Unfortunately, when I visited the museum, the exhibitions were limited because of the blackout after a cyclone. Although I saw some items in the darkness, they looked interesting from the viewpoint of Fijian history.

“Take the time”
Reviewed December 16, 2012

Ok, this is not the Smithsonian but it is a very enjoyable small museum. Exhibits cover most aspects of Fiji's past although quite short on exhibits of Fiji's more recent (1950's onwards)history. If this is your first visit to Fiji, take the time to wander through!
