My husband and I traveled to Fiji without much information about it, and fortunately had made reservations at Bedarra Beach Inn for ten days. After the first day, we booked the final ten days of our vacation here as well. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and made us feel part of a family. The room was spacious and clean, with a big balcony overlooking the lagoon and the ocean, right across the road. We tried a few other places to eat, but the food at the Inn was so much better, we ate there almost every meal. The desk staff was helpful in booking excursions for us, although we spent the majority of our time relaxing by the pool or across the street by the lagoon under the coconut trees. We would return here in a heartbeat if it weren't half a world away from us! We were envious of the Australian guests who can take a short flight to return. All in all, Bedarra Beach provided three lovely weeks we will remember forever.

Room was great - modern, clean, & quiet. Also a good price!
Restaurant was nice, very good food, prices, service & atmosphere (it was very popular).
Well situated, 10min taxi to Sigatoka for shopping & sightseeing. From Bedarra we hired car with driver for day trip to Suva.
The pool was being cleaned so couldn't use it & the tide was out when we usually wanted to swim (beach across small road infront of Bedarra). We still could swim before 10am or after 6 but then dark. Still, we recommend Bedarra & would go back!

We have 2 pre-schoolers and after reading so many fabulous reviews on this hotel, we booked a 2 week holiday. This place is just great. We got an awesome deal booking through expedia via trip advisor - the room was huge - easily big enough for a king size bed and 2 singles, and a couch and table and chairs. The bathroom was as large as our bedroom at home!
The staff at Bedarra are so friendly - but not in an over the top way. After a while you realise that the large resorts drum into their staff to be "over friendly" to the tourists and you hear "bula bula" all the time. Not so with Bedarra. You are always greeted with a warm friendly greeting - the difference being it felt genuine.
We needed to find a doctor during our 2 week stay and the reception staff were brilliant at helping us with this.
The pool was renovated while we were there and a lot of the "loose" tiles were fixed back into place. The garden staff are so obliging and will take lounger chairs over to the beach for you at any time. Nothing ever seems too much trouble.
We arranged for Joana to babysit our children twice so that we could go out. She was awesome with them. For just F$5 per hour - it was a bargin - and gave us some "adult time".
We had dinner at the Outrigger one night - fine dinning - it was lovely - but a one off experience. It was very expensive.
The meals at Bedarra are AMAZING..AMAZING...AMAZING. Our favourite was the "Reef Endeavour" - you have to try it.
Bedarra is an awesome place to stay, it is excellent value for money, it is close to the hustle and bustle of Sigatoka if you want to buy bread and fruit and do some self catering, but far enough away to escape and have a very peaceful holiday.
We highly recommed Bedarra. While we were there we met a number of people who had stayed before and it was a common theme "isn't this place so great - but lets not tell everybody so that we can still come back to an unspoilt haven".
Thanks Bedarra (from the van de Water family)

Well what can I say about Bedarra that other people haven't already said. Enjoyed our stay location was great. Not overrun with people like the Outrigger was the day we had lunch there. Staff were great cocktails a good price. All in all a well run property. The meals were well priced too from the causal menu to the dinner menu. Never had one bad meal in the five days that we stayed. The only other comment that I will make is a little PR from the management would have been nice as its the paying customers that help keep Bedarra going. Maybe they good introduce themselves acouple of words about the place would of been nice instead of nothing. On that note still enjoyed our stay and would stay at Bedarra again if in Fiji.

I found the staff at Bedarra Inn to be supremely polite, accommodating just smashing all round, the people of Fiji seem to be of a sunny nature and only too happy to look after the tourist/guest, nothing too much trouble. Very refreshing. My intention is to visit again this year hopefully in July again,

Room Tip: be polite and be specific about your room required
