Description: Beachfront Cocktails at Le Cafe Beach Bar & Grill This beach favorite serves up burgers, pasta, pizza, juicy cuts of meat, fresh seafood, mouthwatering desserts and specialty cocktails against the backdrop of the Pacific. For oriental appetites, the chinese menu featuring chicken in black bean sauce is a favorite! The Cafe has outside seating on its wooden patio. We love eating breakfast outdoors on a beautiful sunny Fiji morning. Located at the end of palm-lined Sunset Strip and just a stone's throw away from the Outrigger Resort, Le Cafe Beach Bar & Grill is home of the world famous fresh seafood. This lively beach bar has drawn a mix of locals and visitors since opening in 1996 and has become the place to be on sunset strip after dark. Grab a seat at the long wooden bar and watch the sun set behind the crashing surf as you order from a full bar featuring exotic cocktails, local beers as well as premium spirits and shots for the party lover. True to the laid-back spirit of Fiji, Le Cafe is a casual, inviting place. For reservations: 00 679 6520877

“Relax and enjoy”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

We visited Le Cafe on many occasions during our stay at the outrigger. This was no reflection on the outrigger it was just nice to eat outside the resort as an alternative/variety. we also meet other tourists and the locals. Great to hear about other places to visit and where to get the best deals. The food is great - the fish is superb and cooked to perfection.

“Looks better by day”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

We walked past this place plenty of times before deciding to go there for dinner (as we were staying just down the road).

We were enticed by the sign that said "Under Swiss Management," although when we actually went there, there wasn't a Swiss person in sight.

The food was pretty good, but the atmosphere wasn't. Inside there was a staff member smoking at one of the tables, which stunk up the whole inside area, so we opted to sit outside.

The problem with that was that we were seated looking at the restaurant, which meant we had this super bright spotlight shining off the roof into our eyes. Also, they have this flashing pipe-lighting lining the roof all along, so we also faced constant flashing... enough to make the meal less than enjoyable.

If you're going to try this place out, I would highly recommend you either sit inside (if the worker guy isn't smoking), or go for happy hour before dark when the Gestapo lighting is still switched off.

“Very relaxed atmosphere...”

Enjoyed our meal at Le Cafe. Huge pizzas, a good curry and great value. Had a good time playing pool after dinner. Great to have another option away from the resort (just up the beach from the Outrigger).

“Good food, very reasonable”
Reviewed May 4, 2013

We stayed at the Outrigger on the Lagoon Coral Coast and this little cafe is only a few hundred metres down the beach to the right of the resort.....it is not open on Monday nights. Very reasonable prices and good food....much cheaper option than dining in the resort....
